drupal is a well designed content management system. i love it too.
however, its usage is limited to content management related ones.
java world evolves over times two. there are many cool open source
frameworks out there, but big companies still stick to some mature ones,
like spring.
no, haven't heard alfresco; will check it out. thanks.
